WHMAUTIC Module Configuration

In this tutorial will guide through the configuration for WHMAUTIC WHMCS addon module to properly integrate your WHMCS and Mautic.

Mautic Settings Configuration

The process of configuring the module is simple, with the username and password in hands created in the previous step (if you did not create it, see the step Enabling API and Authentication on Mautic) and the URL, set the respective fields on Module Configuration tab:

  • Username: usarname of mautic user
  • Password: password
  • Mautic URL: URL of your Mautic (please include http:// or https://, ex. https://mautic.example.com)

Health Status

In the Health Status tab, you can check if your integration with Mautic is correctly configured. This page will help you debug some common problems in the Mautic configuration and API communication.

TLD to Mautic Segments

On the menu Synchronize Segments > TLD's to Segments you will be able to map your available selling Top Level Domains to Mautic Segments.

Products to Segments

On menu Synchronize Segments > Products to Segments you will be able to map your selling Products and Services to Mautic Segments.

Synchronize Existing Clients

This feature synchronizes existing WHMCS clients to Mautic and adds them to previously mapped product and domain segments. If you have not yet mapped the products to your Mautic segments, do it before you synchronize existing customers.

If Mautic already have the client email they will be merged with the existing contact history on Mautic's contact profile.

  • Total customers to sync: this information shows the total WHMCS clients registers in your database that will be synced with Mautic Contacts
  • Synchronize inactive products/services?: If you want your customers inactive products or services, check this option to Yes. Customers who have canceled, suspended or closed products will also be added in their Mautic segments.

Click on the button Synchronize existing clients to initiate the sync.

Before sync make sure that will have mapped the desire product to one of yours Mautic Segments.

Do not leave this page until all clients are finish to sync

After synchronization is finished, you will be able to see all your actual WHMCS clients on your Mautic, segmented based on TLD's Segments and Products to Segments options.
